Meet the Optometrist

Dr. Bermudez is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She specializes in a series of tests to assess acuity, refraction, and potential eye diseases.

Originally from Alpine, TX, Dr. Bermudez graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX in 1993 and obtained her doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) in 2001.

Dr. Bermudez worked with two private practices in the Austin area before moving to San Antonio. While in San Antonio, Dr. Bermudez owned Forum Eye Care and then worked as a Clinical Doctor and Clinical Director for TLC Laser Center. She also practiced next door to Costco in Selma before moving back to Alpine in 2009. Upon returning to Alpine, Dr. Bermudez opened 4i's Optical, a private optometric practice with full optical.

Dr. Bermudez enjoys college football and basketball (Go Coogs!) and (Wreck ‘em Tech!), traveling, snorkeling, and DIY projects.
